I am not able to activate the program.
Problem:
The Test Authorization Slip program requires that it be activated with an activation code so that the program knows which custom database to download. If the program is unable to verify the activation code then the program can not run.
Resolution:
Option 1:
Verify that you have internet access and that you have the correct activation code. If you do then ensure that your firewall is not blocking the Test Authorization Slip program from accessing the internet.
Option 2:
You can manually active the program.
- Make sure the program is not running.
- Using the user’s activation code, go to our ftp server at ftp://www.cmi-satx.com/update/database. Location the mdb file that begins with the users activation code and download the file.
- Move the file to C:\Program Files\CMI\Test Authorization Slip\database. If you installed the program anywhere else then the default directory you will need to adjust for that.
- In the directory that you moved the mdb file, open the tas.ini and on the second line after the equal symbol enter the mdb file name (ie, if the file name is 65789.mdb then that is what you need to enter).
- Change the second line to read LastVersion=1.
- Save the file and close it.
- Start the Test Authorization Slip program. The program should start up normally.
